As a teacher, I value finding joy in movement, refining technique and alignment, sharing dance history/praxis through implementing my studies as a UCLA World Arts and Cultures/Dance alum, pre-professional performance, and creating a space where dancers can feel seen and heard. I believe that my years of experience and willingness to continue elevating in my own training can guide dancers of all ages and abilities to reach their dance goals.

Teaching Offerings Includes: Technique, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Liturgical, Musical Theatre, College Preparation, Choreography, and Stretch and Conditioning.

Choreography

A graduate of the Dance department at UCLA, Sydney designs captivating, emotionally impactful, and technically revolutionary works that touch audiences across the country. Her approach emphasizes storytelling, using choreographic processes, compositional techniques, and embodied practice, curating each body of work to challenge the artists performing it and calling them to step into their highest potential. Whether for professional showcases, studios, competitions, or on the collegiate level, Sydney's composition is set to leave an impression.

Private Coaching

Elevate your performance and technique with personalized, one-on-one training. Sydney provides private coaching sessions intended to refine technique, clean choreography, and prepare dancers for shows, auditions, competitions, and college preparatory.

Her mentorship is steeped in forming the dancer's artistic voice, growing their confidence, and preparing dancers to achieve their biggest dance aspirations. This training is more than solidifying training, it's building a holistically strong artist-athlete!
